U.S. Appellate Courts
All U.S. District Courts belong to a specific "circuit." For instance, federal cases from the U.S. District Courts in the southern part of the United States are appealed to the Court of Appeals in the Fifth Circuit. These federal appeals courts review verdicts from U.S. District Courts.
