Personal Property Rental Agreement (DE)

This agreement can be used when renting personal property. Having an agreement like this in place will benefit both the renter and owner. It allows you to agree on terms ahead of time to avoid conflict later, and have a plan in place should certain problems arise.

The form allows you to agree on details such as:

• A description of the personal property
• The length of rental
• Locations for pickup/drop-off/delivery
• Whether insurance is required
• The terms of payment including the amount, a payment schedule, late fees, and security deposits

Note that this agreement is not to be used for renting a room, apartment or house for tenants to live in. Our "Residential Lease," "Month-to-Month Rental Agreement," or "Room Rental Agreement" should be used instead. It is intended for personal use, not for a business to rent out equipment or other property.
