Durable Power of Attorney for Finances (MN)
This form creates a Power of Attorney document that contains the statutory requirements of the State of Minnesota.
A Power of Attorney documents that you (the Principal) have given someone or an institution (an agent) the authority to spend your money and sell or dispose of your property during your lifetime without telling you. You do not lose your own authority to do the same, even though you have given an agent similar authority. The Power of Attorney is official when your agent signs the document in the presence of a Notary Public. You can revoke or terminate the Power of Attorney at any time.
