Consent to Sublease (DC)

There are times when a tenant may desire to sublet all or a portion of the premises they are presently occupying under a lease. Most leases will address the tenant's right or ability to sublet and contain provisions on whether the landlord must approve or consent to a sublease. This document creates a landlord's consent to a sublease. It clearly spells out the parties, the granting of the consent and conditions to the landlord's consent.
