Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Businesses that wish to continue operating must file for bankruptcy under Chapter 11, which reorganizes the debtor company's finances. Businesses in bankruptcy are sometimes refereed to as being "in reorganization." The reorganization plan allows the company to repay creditors while it continues to operate.
